SHABBAT SHALOM BIENVENUE WELCOME

CARLEBACH YOUTH MINYAN/ONEG

The Adath, with NCSY, KTM, B'nei Akiva, TBDJ Youth Minyan, BIBA Youth Minyan, and Beth Zion Youth are having a Carlebach Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday, March 12th (Shabbat Parshat Vayak'hel-Pekudei - Shabbat Parshat HaChodesh). It will be held downstairs in the Adath Chapel. Mincha starts at 5:40 pm. All high-school students (and others) are invited to attend. That same night, students in grades 7-8 and grades 9-11 will be having an Oneg Shabbat at The Adath, hosted by Rabbi Whitman, starting at 9 p.m. We look forward in seeing you all there!

TOT SHABBAT

Next Shabbat, March 13, is Tot Shabbat at the Adath. Zehavit Meltzer will lead the Tot Shabbat group, ages 3-6 starting at 10 a.m. Zehavit will lead the children in games, prayers, Parshah skits, and much more. We are fortunate to have an experienced leader like Zehavit to run this exciting new program. All children ages 3-6, and their families, are invited to come.

 Bnei Mitzvah Group, next session - Tuesday, March 23, 5:45 p.m.
 Pre-Passover Shabbat Dinner - Friday night, March 26
 Shabbat HaGadol Drashah: Rabbi Whitman will deliver the Shabbat HaGadol Drashah (Annual Passover Lecture) after Minchah, which will begin at 5:45 p.m. All men and women are invited to the Drashah at about 6:05 p.m. and to the Shalosh Seudot which will follow. There will be ample opportunity to ask any Passover questions during Shalosh Seudot. Childcare will be provided - Saturday, March 27
 Youth Service - Shabbat Chol HaMoed, April 3
 “Ten Commandments” lecture series with Rabbi Whitman. We will discuss classical and contemporary sources to understand the significance of these divine words, and their application to our daily lives. This series will meet Wednesdays 12-1 p.m. for five weeks starting after Passover. Lunch is served for a nominal cost. Everyone is invited to attend - beginning Wednesday, April 14.
